30+ Years Providing Innovative Language Solutions
Highlighted by three decades of happy client relationships, ALTA’s story is one of growth through innovation. Everything we do is a commitment to our core purpose: we help people communicate across linguistic and cultural barriers. Founded in 1980 as a language training company, we expanded our services by listening to clients and developing language solutions that solve problems and add value. Our mix of core services is unique, and we’ve enjoyed combining them in interesting ways to develop innovative language solutions.
ISO Certified Quality – Zero Non-conformities
Many translation service companies pay lip service to quality, but few open their doors to be reviewed by an objective third party. Our Translation Quality Management System (TQMS) is ISO 9001:2008 certified. Truly setting us apart from the competition, we passed the compliance audit with zero non-conformities – a feat achieved by fewer than 5% of companies.
ALTA is a team of language service professionals who share a common set of values. We put these values into action every day, providing you with exceptional service and a commitment to achieving your language goals:
Integrity: We are leaders in an industry based on trust, and we develop trust by acting with integrity.
Expertise: We are committed to the acquisition and application of expertise in language, technology, and culture.
Meaningful Connections: We believe in the value of making meaningful connections across cultures.
Exceptional Service: We strive to go Beyond Words in providing support to our clients and to each other.
Innovation: We are committed to creating and delivering value in the form of new language solutions.

“Thanks for a great course!”
I received a lot more from this course than I expected. The instructors were in tune with what I need in order to be successful in my upcoming tour in Egypt… Both instructors challenged me daily by saturating me in Egyptian dialect as it is spoken by real people in real situations. This style of teaching helped me become used to the speed and manner in which real Egyptians speak. I am sure this course will have given me a big head start on Egyptian dialect before I arrive to Egypt this summer. Thanks for a great course!
