Employment interviewing is an important element in the selection of qualified people. In a multilingual environment or when interviewing outside your organization's home language/culture, enormous barriers to effective inquiry and analysis can be cut-off because of language or cultural differences

ALTA has a staff of competent, educated and experienced interviewers who are able to assist you in this employee interviewing process either on-site or by telephone. We have capabilities in over seventy-five languages. All of our interviewers are also effective English speakers, who have experience working with Americans, so communicating your special needs and receiving needed feed-back is facilitated.

The process for multilingual interviewing is first to identify the specifics of what you need. Next, we work with you to identify a specific plan that meets your needs. The plan is implemented with on-site, telephone, online or other means to complete the interviewing. Finally, a report is given to you on your time basis in English, along with supporting data such as recordings. The result is the information that you need, in English, when you need it to make a decision.

Language Skills Testing Services

When you need to know how well a potential or existing employee speaks a language, ALTA's validated language testing tells you. ALTA provides language testing of all four basic language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. We test for governments at the Federal, state and local levels, Fortune 500 companies, call-centers, health care organizations, non-profits and many other organizations. Testing is available by telephone, by client administration, online or on-site in many languages.

Credentials Translation Services

When a potential employee provides you with information that is in a different language, such as a diploma, a certificate, or a report of employment performance, ALTA can provide accurate translations and fast turnaround. If you need to transfer an employee to another country and you need the employee's information translated, whether the documents are employment reports, police good conduct reports, insurance, or health information, ALTA can help.

When a document is being used for immigration, admission to institutions of higher learning, or for some legal purpose, a certified translation is appropriate. This certified translation ensures that the document in question will be accepted as a valid translation for legal purposes.

Personnel Forms Translation Services

Many different forms are completed by employees not only in the hiring process, but throughout employment. In situations where the employees do not speak English or the forms are used outside English-speaking areas, there is a need to create the forms in another language. ALTA can translate forms into any language that you need. This can be done to create the forms in Word, Adobe Acrobat or other formats, or to create online forms.
